That is a very good question.  Yeah, while the story in "American Pie" is a little bit exaggerated夸张, the desire渴望 for sex in American teens青少年 is very real真实的.  In the US, some schools start teaching sex education性教育 as early as the 5th grade (小学5年级）and go through to high school.
